Description Herbs perennial. Rhizome short, ligneous, thick. Culms lateral, 15-50 cm tall, trigonous, covered with brown fibrous sheaths at base. Leaves longer than culms; leaf- blade brownish green» flat, leathery, 4-7 mm wide, acuminate at apex,» scabrous on margins.
