Involucral bracts leaf-like or shortly leaf-like, shorter than inflorescence, sheathed; sheaths 2.5-5 cm long, obliquely truncate at orifice. Inflorescence paniculate, with 3 or 4 spikes; terminal spike staminate, linear-cylindrical, 5-9 cm long, 4. 5-5. 5 mm wide, with a long peduncle at base; lateral spikes androgynous, cylindrical, 3-9 cm long, 9-10 mm wide, densely flowered, bearing a 4-5 cm long staminate part at apex, pedunculate; peduncles exserted from sheaths.
