Inflorescences (1–) 2.5–6.1 mm long, the lowest bracts often foliaceous, 1–8.5 cm long, shorter or often longer than the inflorescence; terminal spikes (9–) 15–30 mm long, the staminate portion 3–22 mm long, often more than half the length of the spike. Pistillate scales 1.8–3.4 mm long; staminate scales 3–4.8 mm long. Perigynia 3–4.1 (–4.6) mm long. Achenes 2–2.6 mm long. Anthers 1.7–2.3 mm long.  [details]
