Inflorescence solitary at terminal, androgynous, elliptic-ovate, 6-12 mm long, staminate flower part very short, above with 3-5-flowered; pistillate flower part longer than staminate flower part, below with 7-15-flowered. Staminate scales dark brown, apex acute. Pistillate scales caducous, pale brown, elliptic-lanceolate, 2.5-3 mm long, apex obtuse to acute.
