Locality notes: Written "Talyschgebirge bei Metschit-sefid, 19 April 1848 (florens)" in the protologue [Talysh Mountains near Mechit-sefid, April 19, 1848 (flowering)]. sefid is a Persian word (????.) meaning "white". Locality visible on the foldout map in Buhse's 1860 memoir. The city is located along the Schiforud River [Shafarod River]. Maybe refering to the village of Metesh ( ??? ), but the locality on the maps appears to be more to the south compared to this city. The coordinates were placed accordingly.
