Taxonomic remark The type specimen in herb. Willdenow is unambiguously the same entity as Carex lurida Wahlenb. The achenes are well formed. This is not the same as Sartwell's specimen named "Carex tentaculata var. rostrata" that he distributed in his exsiccatae,which is the hybrid between Carex lurida and Carex lupulina. [details]
